Nurse Practitioner Neurosurgery Inpatient - Nights - Detroit, MI at VHS Physician of MI summary:
The Nurse Practitioner in Neurosurgery provides direct patient care services, collaborating with physicians to enhance medical service delivery. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering lab studies, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. A Master's degree and certification as an Acute Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, along with at least two years of neurosurgery experience, are required for this role.
Summary
Provide direct patient care services; augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients; perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order lab studies and professional consultations.
Responsibilities
Per collaborative agreement and/or state requirements.
Education
Required: Master's prepared Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
Certifications
Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; RNP License; BLS.
Must be Acute Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Experience
Required: 2 years of Neurosurgery experience.
