TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in West Bloomfield, Michigan, 48322 Pay Information $2,020 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730, scheduling based on unit needs, every other weekend required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: At least one year of PCU/Step Down experience; telemetry experience required License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS required, BLS preferred Must-Have: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans Job Description: - Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. - Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. - Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. - Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
