Summary:Kierstead Search Group, a premier nationwide executive search firm, has partnered with a prominent manufacturing company in the greater Cleveland, OH area. Our client is experiencing explosive growth and is looking for a Director of Manufacturing to fill a critical leadership role and be instrumental in the company's growth trajectory. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a motivated self-starter that wants to add more value and be instrumental to the success of the organization.Qualifications:

• Ability to run a major area of the company in a balanced way where it is very demanding for quality and time. Be able to hold team accountable while keeping a positive and enjoyable culture.
• Plant Manufacturing leadership experience and process oriented. Must have a track record of hitting production and quality standards. Documentation is critical so must be detail oriented. Ability to be close to the floor while also being a visionary and strategic.
• Experience managing a multifaceted manufacturing operation including CNC and manual machining, precision welding (tig, laser, brazing, and soldering), modern tool & die operation, non-destructive testing (NDT), hydroforming, thin wall tubing, assembly operations, and Supply Chain and scheduling.
• Experience taking an organization from a manual process to more digital and smart manufacturing concepts.
• Understanding metals (knowledge of 300 series stainless, brass, or copper). Must have some idea of processing such as machining, stamping, forming, etc. of metal component parts.
• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma preferred. Familiarity with AS9100 and CMMC desirable.
• Power generation industry, oil and gas, petrochemical, or DOD/aerospace would be a huge plus but not required.Why Work Here:
