Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Decision Scientist
specializing in Applied Optimization and Simulation.
Key Responsibilities
Define high-level business objectives with clients and develop
project plans to meet those objectives
Lead teams through the entire data science lifecycle, from problem
definition to model automation and deployment
Manage client relationships and create value-driving initiatives
for the company
Required Qualifications
MS/PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer
Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM field
Strong theoretical knowledge of optimization techniques such as
linear programming and dynamic programming
Proficiency in programming languages like Python and optimization
platforms such as AIMMS/AMPL/GAMS/Pyomo
5+ years of practical data science experience and consulting
experience preferred
Familiarity with data visualization platforms like PowerBI or
Tableau is a plus
