Job Description:
A company is looking for a Procurement Engineer who will act as
a global procurement project leader throughout the machined and
molded parts development process.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate global procurement, suppliers, and R&D into the
development process at an early stage
Initiate and drive cost-out measures through design-to-cost,
market/technology scouting, reverse engineering, and material
standardization
Monitor supplier progress and lead cross-functional reviews to
ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in machine or molded parts development,
project management, new product introductions, supply chain, and
procurement engineering
High proficiency in numerical analysis and experience with
calculation tools
Highly organized, disciplined, and analytical with a proactive
approach to meeting deadlines
Goal-driven and independent with confidence in interdisciplinary
collaboration
