Job Description:
Position Overview: -The Sales Estimator will play a critical
role in driving business growth by managing and expanding a book of
business in the asphalt and paving sector. This individual will be
responsible for estimating projects, cultivating client
relationships, and ensuring that bids align with both client
expectations and company goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust book of business within the
asphalt and paving industry.
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for projects,
including material costs, labor, equipment, and timelines.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide
tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the operations and project management teams
to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the
client base.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and
industry standards.
- Build and foster strong relationships with contractors,
vendors, and other stakeholders.Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Estimator in the asphalt and
paving industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a book of
business.
- Strong understanding of asphalt and paving materials,
processes, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building
skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office
Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a
fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.Why
