Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician
for a travel job in Detroit, Michigan.Job Description &
Requirements
Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or
supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select
procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens,
involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments
and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed.
Schedule Notes: 1 position needed
Not testing
Experience with SunQuest and Epic
This position is more clerical focused on customer service
o Critical value calling
Does not have to be certified but eligible
Skills: Required Skills & Experience:
-Ability to communicate effectively with others.
-Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge
sufficient to perform laboratory functions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:

Education: Required Education:
-Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory
Technology or Laboratory Science.
Preferred Education:

Required Certification & Licensure:
-Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP
or NCA).
