Job Description:
A company is looking for a Security Analyst in the Mid-Atlantic
region (Remote in NC, VA, WV, MD, DC, DE, NJ, or PA).
Key Responsibilities
Proactively prevent security incidents and respond to emerging
threats
Analyze network traffic and logs to identify anomalies and
potential threats
Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to enhance
security measures
Required Qualifications
Familiarity with Splunk and ability to create and run SPL
queries
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and similar protocols
Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
Basic proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash,
PowerShell)
Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, GCIH, CEH, or
CISSP
