About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Tech to join our team at Broadway. As a Custodial Tech you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential to your success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-6pm or 9:30am-6:30pmMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass BCI/FBI and Child Abuse Background CheckPrevious experience in custodial/maintenance workAbility to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50 lbsStrong attention to detailExcellent time management skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers and scrubbersKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper useAbility to work flexible hoursStrong communication skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learnResponsibilities:Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dustingMaintenance duties throughout the centerMaintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, break rooms and common areasEmptying trash and recycling binsMonitoring and restocking cleaning suppliesReporting any maintenance or safety issues to managementSkills:As a Custodial Tech, you will utilize your attention to detail and time management skills to ensure that our facilities are clean and organized. You will also use your physical strength and ability to lift heavy equipment to perform routine cleaning tasks. Your knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment will be beneficial in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Additionally, your strong communication skills will be essential in reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management.
