Modis, a leader in the staffing industry, is working with a client in the Downtown Cleveland area who is seeking a senior level SharePoint Engineer to join their prestigious organization in a highly visible position.   
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Works as a senior member of a collaborative team responsible for business analysis, planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, supporting, and documenting SharePoint related packaged solutions and/or custom developed software
• Provides thought leadership on emerging technologies; works with Client Management to help establish product portfolios, multi-year product roadmaps and program strategies; assists with preparation of realistic budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Provides technical leadership to Client personnel on assigned platforms and collaborates with peers in to create, administer, and optimize SharePoint related solutions; mentors fellow team members through advice, coaching, and collaboration
• Works effectively on cross-functional teams; provides accurate time and cost estimates on assigned work; provides technical leadership on projects of varying sizes
• Manages multiple and competing priorities and assignments as required in a dynamic environment
• Evaluates alternatives for deploying, patching, and supporting SharePoint related solutions  in a managed environment and actively suggests changes that will enhance user experience
• Interfaces with vendors and acts as primary point of contact for SharePoint platform; communicates functional and technical application requirements; manages vendor deliverables; implements purchased software packages; communicates bugs and required enhancements; maintains knowledge of product roadmap
• Provides third level support to diagnose SharePoint related issues and perform root cause analysis; collaborates with first and second level support, QA, vendors, and other TSS teams on production system problems; communicates interim workarounds
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Advanced level experience in SharePoint administration, including  but not limited to security administration, assessing/applying patches, server monitoring, evaluating event/ULS logs, monitoring application health through SharePoint Central Administration, backups/restores, and utilizing PowerShell scripting/reporting to gather information or make changes to the SharePoint environment  
• Advanced skills in SharePoint related technologies, toolsets, and methodologies, including:
• SQL Server Database • Windows Desktop OS
• Transact SQL • Microsoft Office
• IIS
• Active Directory
• Forefront Identify Manager
• PowerShell Scripting • Web Services
• Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
