Location: A suburb in Ohio located just east of Toledo along the shores of Lake Erie! Facility: A community-focused hospital that offers a wide range of healthcare services. Opportunity:

• Looking for temporary General Surgery Locum Coverage from December 20, 2024 - January 5, 2025.
• Practice Setting: Hospital Based General Surgery and Level 3 Trauma Center Coverage at a Community Hospital. May receive referrals or questions from APP that is working in the Office Practice regarding patients. Primary responsibility is Hospital General Surgery and Level 3 Trauma call coverage, general surgery consult coverage at the hospital.
• Call Ratio: 15-20 / 24 hours
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 10
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level 3
• Annual ER Volume: 27,000
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Number of Operating Rooms: 10
• Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 1
• Description of OR Staff: Experienced well trained OR staff. Skilled at Robotic Surgical Procedures as well as all General Surgery Procedures.
• Patient Age Demographic: Primarily Adults age 18 and over. Pediatric and Adolescent patients are sent to the Childrens hospital that is near by.
• Procedures Required:General Surgical Cases ADULT, General Surgical Cases TRAUMA, Central Line Insertion, PA Catheter Placement, Chest Tube Insertion, Vascular Access Devices, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
