Nurse Practitioner Neurosurgery Inpatient Days / Nights in Detroit, MI at VHS Physician of MI summary: The Nurse Practitioner in Neurosurgery provides comprehensive patient care by supporting physicians in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders. They perform various medical procedures, order lab studies, and ensure compliance with state regulations and collaborative agreements. A Masters degree and relevant certifications, along with two years of neurosurgery experience, are required for this role. SummaryProvide direct patient care services; augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients; perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order lab studies and professional consultations.ResponsibilitiesPer collaborative agreement and/or state requirements.EducationRequired: Masters prepared Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.CertificationsRequired: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; Acute Board Certified Nurse Practitioner; RNP License; BLS.ExperienceRequired: Two years of neurosurgery experience. #LI-MS3
