Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 am - 7:30 pm Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Active Michigan license required Certifications: PALS certification required Must-Have: Availability for on-call assignments Job Description: - Provide respiratory care to patients as prescribed by a physician or healthcare provider. - Perform assessments and develop treatment plans specific to patient needs. - Administer various forms of respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy, inhaled medications, and mechanical ventilation. - Monitor patient responses and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans. - Collaborate with medical professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes. - Maintain complete and accurate records of patient treatments and progress. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. - Participate in orientation and training sessions as required. - Wear appropriate professional attire as per department guidelines.
