  • Job Details
  • This position has basic knowledge of pathophysiology of cancer and is able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for these special patients.
  • Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
  • Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
  • Demonstrates a consistent high level of customer services and compassion when delivering care to patients.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
  • Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
  • Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
    • Job Requirements
    • Will take ICU/ED Experience, but prefer Infusion Experience
    • Oncology Experience - Highly Preferred
    • Epic Experience - Preferred
    • Work History
    • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
    • 2 Supervisory References taken within the last two years
    • Licensure & Certifications (MI LARA & BLS)
