Job Title: Registered Nurse - Step Down Job Specialty: Step Down Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: To be discussed during the hiring process Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: SD experience as well as experience caring for post-op surgical and orthopedic patients is preferred. Job Description: - Provide care to post-op general surgical patients, orthopedic patients, and high acuity medical patients in a 24-bed surgical telemetry unit with spacious private rooms. - Work with a team of ACLS-certified nurses. - May float to Step Down or Med Surg units based on unit needs. - On rare occasions, may float to other locations within the network. - Ensure patients receive optimal care and maintain high standards of nursing practice. - Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. - Monitor patients and assess their condition regularly. - Coordinate patient care and manage treatment plans effectively.
