Job Description:

A company is looking for a Peer Support Specialist Manager to supervise and oversee Peer Support Specialists in providing services to individuals transitioning to community-based settings.



Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage Peer Support Specialists, ensuring they meet the needs of members transitioning from institutional settings
Develop program guidelines and conduct training in collaboration with department leadership
Participate in recruitment, performance management, and task assignment for Peer Support Specialists


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience working with the mental health/substance use population, or a High School Diploma/Associate's Degree with a waiver and 5 years of experience
Current certification as a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (NCCPSS) is required
Preferred experience includes at least 5 years working with the mental health/substance use population
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and relevant information systems is required
Residency in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the North Carolina border is mandatory
