Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Detection Engineer to
develop and advance threat detection capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee deployment and tuning of security tools and
technologies
Conduct research and analysis of emerging cyber threats and
vulnerabilities
Coach and mentor junior detection engineers to ensure successful
task completion
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in threat detection
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Security+, or GIAC are a
plus
Expert knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and
security technologies
Significant experience with Security Information and Event
Management (SIEM) systems
