Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in traffic engineering.
  • Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred, or ability to attain
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads, Synchro, or Civil3D.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and manage traffic engineering projects.
    • Collaborate with MDOT and other stakeholders.
    • Utilize engineering software to develop and analyze traffic plans.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
